§ 15-206. Rat-proofing required.
(a)
Every building and structure in Broward County used or intended to be used for human habitation or use shall be rat-proofed, free from rats and maintained in a rat-proof and rat-free condition. All other buildings and structures shall be rat-proofed to the extent deemed necessary by the Broward County Health Department, as promulgated by the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to section 15-214(b) of this article.
(b)
The department shall have the power and authority to accept or reject materials intended to be used, or used for rat-proofing.
