§ 1-84. Payment of costs from general fund; tax levy authorized.

  • In order to defray the cost and expense, or any portion of the cost and expense, necessary for the acquisition, establishment and maintenance of said county playgrounds, parks, beaches, recreational centers, and for other recreational purposes, and to pay the principal and interest of any bonds that may be issued pursuant to this article, the said county commissioners may pay such costs, expenses, principal and interest from the general revenue fund of the county, and, in order to provide for the payments thereof from the general revenue fund, the said county commissioners may levy annually a tax upon all the taxable property in said county.
