§ 1-574. Monetary gifts, etc.

(a)

All gifts, grants, and awards of monies hereunder shall be deposited in the Broward County Diversity Advisory Council Trust Fund Account, which shall be a separate account established and maintained apart from the general revenue funds and accounts of Broward County.

(b)

Donations of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or more of real or personal property shall be accepted, if at all, by a resolution of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners in accordance with section 18.63 of the Broward County Administrative Code.

(c)

Funds deposited or credited to the Broward County Diversity Advisory Council Trust Fund Account and not expended by the close of any fiscal year shall be carried forward into the next succeeding fiscal year.

(d)

The title to all real and personal property accepted hereunder shall repose and be vested in Broward County, Florida, for the use and benefit of the Broward County Diversity Advisory Council or its successors in interest.

(e)

Any gifts, grants, and awards received and accepted subject to a condition shall be utilized and expended strictly in accordance with such condition.
