§ 20-176.3. Revocation of licenses.
(1)
After due public hearing, the board shall have the power and authority to revoke or suspend any or all occupational licenses held by a person found in violation of the code or any consumer protection law or regulation of the State of Florida or the United States, subject to approval by resolution of the board of county commissioners.
(2)
If a person's occupational license is revoked or suspended by the board, it shall be conclusive evidence as to the unfitness of said person to have and hold a certificate of competency issued by any of the Broward County Central Examining Boards; and such person may have his or her certificate of competency revoked or suspended by the central examining board which issued the certificate upon presentation to such board of the order issued by the Broward County Consumer Protection Board revoking or suspending the person's occupational license.
