§ 20-470. Performance evaluation.

  • (a)

    The county may conduct periodic performance evaluations of a franchisee. A franchisee shall cooperate with these evaluations. If the county implements a survey of cable subscribers in connection with a performance evaluation, the county may require:

    (1)

    A franchisee to distribute the county's questionnaire to its subscribers at the county's expense; or

    (2)

    Provide address labels to be used by the county to send questionnaire. The county pledges its obligation to preserve subscribers's privacy rights and will not retain subscriber information without the consent of the subscriber.

    (b)

    At the conclusion of the evaluation, the Chief Information Officer shall issue a report to the Board of the results of any performance evaluation, together with, if necessary, any recommendations for methods to improve a franchisee's performance under the franchise or this article.
