§ 23-41. Operative effect and applicability.

The operative effect and applicability of this article to persons within Broward County shall be of no effect or applicability unless:
(a)

The Governor of the State of Florida shall declare that an energy emergency exists in Broward County or throughout the State of Florida; and

(b)

Either the Board of County Commissioners by resolution or the county administrator by order shall declare that the energy emergency measures as provided for by this article have operative effect and are applicable to persons within Broward County.
