§ 27-406. General exemptions.

  • (a)

    During emergency conditions caused by a hurricane or other natural disaster, the provisions of this article may be suspended by the direction of the County Administrator.

    (b)

    Nuisance Trees. Nuisance trees as defined by this article are exempt from the prohibitions set forth in Chapter 27, Article XIV, Section 405 provided that no condition is created which poses an imminent threat to public safety or property. In such cases, the nuisance tree shall be removed to alleviate any threat. Failure to remove said tree after warning from EPGMD shall constitute a violation of this article.
