§ 30-214. Foreclosure of liens.

  • Any lien in favor of the district arising under Chapter 298, F.S., or under this article may be foreclosed by the district by foreclosure proceedings in the name of the district in the circuit court in like manner as is provided in Chapter 173, F.S., and amendments thereto, and the provisions of said chapter shall be applicable to such proceedings with the same force and effect as if said provisions were expressly set forth in this article. Any act required or authorized to be done by or on behalf of a city or town in foreclosure proceedings under Chapter 173, F.S. may be performed by such officer or agent of the district as the board of supervisors may designate. Such foreclosure proceedings may be brought at any time after the expiration of one year from the date any tax, or installment thereof, becomes delinquent.
