§ 30-500.6. Ad valorem taxes levied.

The Board shall have the power within the Subunit to levy and assess an ad valorem tax on all taxable property in the Subunit, for the purpose of Fire Rescue Services within the Subunit. Ad valorem taxes shall be levied within the Subunit in accordance with general law. The ad valorem tax provided for herein shall be in addition to county ad valorem taxes provided by law. Such tax shall be assessed, levied and collected in the same manner and at the same time as county taxes.
