§ 30-545. Discontinuance of service.

  • In the event that the proper fees, rentals or other charges for water management facilities are not paid when due, the board shall have the power, under reasonable rules and regulations as the board may adopt to discontinue such water management service until such time as such fees, rentals or other charges including interest, penalties and expenses are fully paid, and for such purposes may enter on any lands, waters or premises of any person, firm or corporation or body, public or private, within the district limits. Such delinquent fees, rentals or other charges, together with the interest, penalties and expenses for discontinuance of service, and restoration of service, and a reasonable attorney's fee and other costs, may be recovered by the district. The district may also enforce payment of such delinquent fees, rentals and other charges by any other lawful method of enforcement.
