§ 31-31. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings, unless some other meaning is plainly indicated:

(1)

Act shall mean chapter 28948, Laws of Florida (1953), as amended by chapters 59-1142, Laws of Florida, and chapter 61-1950, Laws of Florida.

(2)

Assessments or special assessment shall mean the special assessments against specially benefited property which are authorized to be levied pursuant to this article.

(3)

Board shall mean the board of county commissioners of Broward County.

(4)

County shall mean Broward County, Florida.

(5)

Improvement or road improvement shall mean and include all of the improvements authorized and described in section 31-32 of this article.
