§ 35-1. Authority to create; manner of creation; board.
(a)
The Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, Florida, is authorized to create water conservation districts within such county. Such water conservation districts shall be established by resolution of the board of county commissioners adopted at a special meeting or meetings held for that purpose. Notice of the time, place and purpose of such meeting shall be published once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, prior to the holding of such meeting.
(b)
The Board of County Commissioners of Broward County shall ex officio constitute the board of commissioners of each water conservation district created pursuant to this chapter.
