§ 5-62. Requirements relating to the safe and sanitary maintenance of premises adjacent to dwelling structures.

  • (a)

    No owner, occupant, or operator of a dwelling, dwelling unit, hotel, hotel unit, rooming house, or rooming unit shall deposit, or cause to be deposited, any rubbish, garbage, or other refuse on adjacent property.

    (b)

    The owner of property adjacent to a dwelling structure shall be required to keep such property free from excessive growth of weeds, grass, and other flora, and rubbish, trash, garbage, and refuse, in accordance with State law and other applicable codes and ordinances.
