§ 8-34. Governance.

(1)

The council shall establish by-laws to address the governance of the council.

(2)

The council shall have the authority to elect such officers and promulgate such internal procedures and rules as may be necessary to conduct the business of the council; provided that the council shall elect the officers necessary for the Executive Committee as identified in Subsection 8-36(3) of this article. Such rules and internal procedures shall not be inconsistent with this article or any other ordinance of Broward County.
