§ 9-32. Application to exempt persons.

(a)

Any person or business organization that performs or contracts to perform any work in any trade or occupation regulated by this chapter within Broward County, Florida, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the board.

(b)

Any person or business organization that performs or contracts to perform any work in any trade or occupation regulated by this chapter within Broward County and who is exempt from the certification requirements and provisions of this chapter, as provided in Section 9-26, shall comply with all other provisions of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

(c)

Any person or business organization exempted from certification by Section 9-26 shall, if found to be in violation of any provision of the Broward County Code of Ordinances, be disciplined as provided by Chapter 8½ of the Broward County Code of Ordinances
