§ 9-46. Enforcement.
(a)
It shall be the duty and responsibility of all building officials, building code inspectors, and code enforcement officers employed by Broward County, or any municipality located therein, to assist in the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter and the orders of the board.
(b)
It shall be the duty and responsibility of each board to supervise the enforcement and enforce the provisions of this chapter.
(c)
It shall be the duty and responsibility of all law enforcement officers to enforce the provisions of this chapter and orders of the board.
(d)
Whenever any person engages in any acts or practices which constitute a violation of any provision of this chapter or order of the board, the County Attorney may make application to the Circuit Court for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit for an order enjoining such acts or practices and for an order granting a temporary or permanent injunction, restraining order, or other relief enjoining such acts or practices.
