§ 9-160. Purpose.

It is hereby declared by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners that, in order to safeguard the life, safety, property, and public welfare of the people of Broward County and to protect and enhance the urban forest environmental resource of Broward County, it is necessary to license and regulate sole proprietors and business organizations, which contract to perform tree trimming services, and governmental agencies, which trim trees.
