The Consumer Protection Board may, by a majority vote, recommend to the governing
board of the jurisdiction that it authorize the Office of the County Attorney or the
city attorney, depending on whether the jurisdiction is the unincorporated area or
a municipality, to bring a complaint under Section 60.05, Florida Statutes, seeking
a permanent injunction against any place, property, or premises found to be a public
nuisance. The Consumer Protection Board may further seek any other appropriate relief
as may be provided or permitted by law. Nothing contained within this Ordinance prohibits
any jurisdiction from proceeding against a public nuisance by any other means.
