§ 31-36. Special assessment road improvement fund created; composition; use.

(a)

There is hereby created and established a revolving fund to be designated as the "Broward County Special Assessment Road Improvement Fund" from which the cost of any road improvement provided for in this article may be paid by the board, either in whole or in part. Said fund shall consist of:

(1)

All monies remaining on the effective date of this article in the special assessment road improvement fund created by the act;

(2)

All special assessments collected pursuant to this article or the act subsequent to such effective date; and

(3)

Such other monies, other than monies derived from ad valorem taxation, which may be appropriated from time to time by the Board of County Commissioners for deposit in said fund.

(b)

The fund herein created shall be maintained and carried on from year to year.
