§ 1-339. Monetary gifts, etc.

(a)

All gifts, grants, and awards of money hereunder shall be deposited in the Nancy J. Cotterman Center Trust Fund Account, which shall be a separate account established and maintained apart from the general revenue funds and accounts of Broward County.

(b)

Donations of less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) may be accepted on behalf of Broward County by the director of the Nancy J. Cotterman Center or such other person or persons as may be designated by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners and upon receipt of said money shall cause the same to be delivered to the Broward County Finance and Administrative Services Department, which shall cause the same to be credited to the Nancy J. Cotterman Center Trust Fund Account. Donations of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or more shall be accepted by a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners in accordance with Chapter 18, Part III, Section 18.63, Broward County Administrative Code.

(c)

Funds deposited or credited to the Nancy J. Cotterman Center Trust Fund Account and not expended by the close of any fiscal year shall be carried forward into the next succeeding fiscal year.

(d)

Any gifts, grants, and awards received subject to a condition shall be expended strictly in accordance with such condition.
